Whole thing is inked and isolated! Tomorrow I get to fill in the blanks with the bucket tool. Hooray!

Hello Everyone!
I'm back to SVS Forums after a bit of a hiatus. Missed you all!
I wanted to share my most recent painting for a retelling of The Snow Queen that I am working on.

Last one for a bit, I swear!
I hope not. This is great. I want more. Lol

@burvantill by "little bit" I of course meant "a day or two" It'll be done in its entirety pretty darn soon I think!

@jeremy-ross Love it! There's definitely more story going on and I like your color/value choices.

Iβm working on a submission for the Tiger contest in which the subject matter is very uncreatively βtigers.β Mostly I just wanted to see if I could draw tigers. Now Iβll have to see if I can paint tigers.

This is a spot I did for the CBPro course. We were offered several manuscripts to work from. I chose to do a modern day take on Jack and the Beanstalk.
(BTW - I cannot say enough about how fantastic that course was!) Thanks for looking.
-
I love your work. I feel it.

Just had a look at your website. Your work is so beautiful. The colors and mood...stirring.

I am finished with my tiger contest entry. These are two options of what I could send in, the scanned image (bottom) or the photograph (top). Which do you like better? It was hard to get the photos to look like the physical project. What feedback do you have for making this better?

@kylebeaudette The hands scream quentin blake. Love it!
