JUNE CONTEST: Meet Albert!
-
I love all these Alberts! I had such a long list of potential animals, but went with skunk! Subtly made him be from Canada (hence the toque).

Hello guys!!
I see a whole lot of cute mischievous mammals this month! In all honesty, I think that the majority of you fellow artists made wonderful pieces. Good luck!I chose to make a gamble and give Albert an alternative solution.
Since there were no rules on "real" mammal, I chose a mythical creature.
A chimera.
in reality i think it could possibly make a pretty good mascot for a kids show and an educational app, since it could ,in theory ,teach the children a lot of things.First of all , it is made from different parts of different animals, so you have a lot to analyze.
My second thought was that it would definitely had a hard time fitting in, so It would teach the kiddos a lot about anti-racism, true friendship and all those positive virtues.
So there you go!

Iβm really loving all the entries! Great work everyone.
I decided to try something new with a paper cut out style character design for Albert the Lion. He thinks heβs pretty cool with that red bandana!

@Mary-Toth omg I love him!

Meet Albert the Skunk!
Living in the wild, he had to fend for himself. Rescued by the Walter family, he's now trying his best to fit in, but somehow he keeps finding himself in trouble!
Whether it's rifling through the garbage for food, keeping his farts at bay, or digging up the lawn to find worms, he has a lot of work to do to fit in. Lucky he's cute :)!

Hey folks,
Another newbie here, although I have been watching for a while. I decided to meet the challenge this month and here's my entry... another otter, but with a sidekick.
Learned a lot. Hoping July's prompt is also Albert based so I can play around with rendering a bit more.
Thanks, Iain

My Albert design for this month's contest, I'm really happy with this My goal for this contest was to stick to the brief as closely as possible. 'Playful' and 'cute' were the two words that I tried to communicate the most, as well as the 'kindergarten' age as stated in the brief. I think the 'kind' aspect is missing in my design, but I tried to suggest some of the 'mischievousness' through my colour choices.
I had loads of fun with this design, I love drawing badgers, it's probably my favourite design that I've done. Unfortunately I've been pretty busy this month so I wasn't able to spend as long on this as I would have liked, but I'm really happy and looking forward to the next one.
Let me know what you think

@charlottesart thank you

@Sara-Nilsson this one! I love him!

It's true...
Albert is a groundhog. But unlike other groundhogs his age:
He isn't afraid to fly.
In fact...
... he actually dreams of becoming a pilot when he grows up...
... much to the laughter and scorn of his family and friends, unfortunately.
But he truly believes... that one day he will be... the first groundhog to ever fly in the sky.
And so his adventure begins...
-
@charlottesart Thank you! Haha I see that we had a similar take, with the b&w and red color scheme. I love that your Albert's pants ripped when he sprayed that poor dogg-o!
-
This was a super fun challenge!
I love seeing all of the different takes on Albert... Great job everyone!! -
Iβm looking forward for more Albert related challenges, since thereβs so many great Alberts in here!
-
Here is Albert the Chibra (Chia Pet + Zebra)! He's furry, fun, and gets into trouble from time to time.
-
@mag This made me laugh out loud... It is SO good!!

Meet Albert the Muskrat! He loves his new life in the human family but his muskrat instincts make hard for him to resist playing with water. That shouldn't be a problem, as all toddlers love water, right? This challenge has been a fun thing to do
