It is so much fun to see how everyone interprets the prompt in their own style! (After watching many critique arenas, I finally worked up the courage to submit something.)

RE: April WIP brings May.... Robots?
Holy noodles! This entire thread was AWESOME!!! I loved seeing your process... So, SO cool! (And, I thought it was so fun to see you searching for bits & pieces where your husband works!)

RE: Lifeguard Yeti WIP - Looking for critiques and opinions
@Nicolas-Gagnon-Fee Such a fun take on the prompt! I think you've totally nailed the moody-but-trying-to-be-chill teen slouch in the last image!

RE: Isolation Slideshow (Record Breaking Submissions)
(Just making another comment so the slideshow is at the top of the posts in case anyone wants to watch it before this afternoon's critique arena. Thanks again @Chip-Valecek for putting them all together! It's so fun to see!)

RE: Childhood Week Prompt: PACT. Which comp?
I LOVE the interaction between the characters in 3! (It does look like it might be a bit of a jump for such young characters though?) But, I think you've nailed the anticipation (and in-it-togetherness) with their body language... the slightly bent knees, the hand holding, the expression... Fantastic!

RE: May Isolation Contest/Crit- is there a recording?
@Lucky-Platt Check your inbox (of the email address that is linked with your membership) - they send zoom invites to members by email. (Also, they record it. If you go to your student dashboard and search "critique arena" you can see the past recordings there.)

RE: Podcast recommendation request?
@xin-li The ones you've mentioned are great! Here are some other recommendations to check out:
For picture book type stuff, I think "Literaticast" with agent, Jennifer Laughran, is great. (She also has a great newsletter.)
For general creativity type stuff I like "Your Creative Push" with Youngman Brown.
And, even though there aren't any new episodes, I really liked "Stories Unbound" with Shawna JC Tenney.

@jdubz I love that your kids pushed for a "business yeti" - it's a really fun concept & he makes me smile when I look at him too! (I'm looking forward to seeing the full character sheet!)

RE: Yeti Character Concept WIP
@Gary-Wilkinson I think they are all great - I'd love to see more drawings of any of them. But I agree, the last one you've shown is a stand-out concept (and your execution of it is super!)! I LOVE the idea that the Yeti is a mountain that just woke up!! (It would make a fantastic story!)

RE: Cinderella: Crowdfunding Project- Critiques welcome
It sounds like a fun project. (I totally understand the need to have multiple projects going on at once.) This looks great so far - I can't wait to see more!
