Hi, I'm Kiel. I am 37 years old and live in south Florida, US. I currently have a career in software engineering and I'm basically new to artwork. I have dreams (delusions?
) of one day retiring from engineering and working as an artist doing illustration or concept art.I found SVSLearn through the 3 Point Perspective podcast. I have wanted to get into drawing and painting for a long time. After listening to a few episodes of the podcast, I started to feel this is something I could actually do, if I work hard enough. In the past, I have tried following other tutorials online, but I always felt like the content was beyond my level. I needed something that would start from zero. The clearly laid out progression of the Foundations courses at SVSLearn looked like just what I needed!
I am currently working through Foundations 1: How to Draw Everything and really enjoying it. I am super excited to be joining this community and learning everything I can!

Thanks @txels! I read your intro. That's a great idea to use illustration in your presentations! I was thinking it may help with whiteboarding and illustrating my ideas at work as well.
