@phoenix-yip my solution to this is set up goals. Like “I want to make x amount of pieces for my portfolio. Or maybe join a challenge like Inktober, folktale week, or mermay, etc. And make myself accountable by posting my work online so that I’ll be held responsible to my audience to complete my project.

While awaiting Discord Group for CED -took a digital stab at the first workbook exercise. However Photoshop is tad bothering me and won't allow my hard brush to remain off on Transfer Pen Pressure, i.e reason for my black mark making is not solid.

Anyways looking SUPER forward to CED Group.

A hawk landed on a tree as I was sketching and stayed just long enough for me to get in some quick lines.

Trying out more vibrant colors, and tried to convey the bigger mountains in the background with washed out color.

I recently watched one of Mark Taro Holmes's sketching videos and liked the way he draws bushes, so I tried it here. He also had some good advice about adjusting the color every time you dip your brush so you get some natural variation.
