Livid, but thankful.

I love your "freelance by force" phrase. The universe is pushing you to higher and better things. Look at this as an opportunity, and go forward with gusto!!

Hey, yeah it is an unfortunate situation. Had the same thing happen to me a few years ago.
Two and a half years into a job I really enjoyed (paid to make art, and paid well) plus finding an almost harmonious work/life/health balance, I was told I had to go because of budget cuts and they could no longer afford an extra artist.
I've been on a rollercoaster ever since. But nothing lasts forever, it's part of life and sometimes a blessing in disguise. It all comes down to how you see it.
Feelings come and go. You got this

-
Sorry Sara ya never know when you just completely end up without a job. You can do this, you already have the determination.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support. Right now I am praying that there is not a repeat of yesterday today. My husband works for the same company different departments.
-
@Sara-Hickman phew the husband's department is safe.

Life takes us by surprise sometimes but these situations often lead to better things. I'm rooting for you @Sara-Hickman !!
-
@Sara-Hickman Oh no! I'm rooting for you with Freelancing!
-
Iām so sorry you lost your job. I sincerely hope things will go smoothly for you in freelancing.
-
@Zachary-Drenski Thank you. I truly believe everything happens for a reason. There is something more out there for us.

Thank you, everyone. I have decided the pity party has ended. I did my hair and makeup today. I have on real clothes. There are bigger and better things for me on the horizon. Thankfully we have a small savings account and HOPEFULLY, we will not have to dip into it. As a Christ-follower, I know that my needs and the needs of my kids will be provided for. Thank you for all the words of encouragement. They really do mean a lot to me.
