For all of you who used this forum because it didn't cost anything and only look to bond with other students, it really is sad that it is shut down.
If you can't afford to pay for access to a (really really worth it) new svs forum, you can join the svs fan discord or/and the informal svs forum (both are without tutors and without administration, but they are for free):

You can be sure that from time to time you will be confronted in both channels with advertising for the new svs, to make you change your mind and try it out. 
@MimiHecher thanks for making these hangouts and sorry about being overly excited about the new space. it's just we have been doing this a long long time and have something that we think will work better for most people. Not just the art, but the community too. But that said, I promise we will not be advertising in your spaces.

I just thought that there might be a lot of people who just want to "hang out" in a community like this one and are not interested in paying for it (at the moment), that's why someone (I guess MimiSimon) started a new discord channel and why I started the informal forum.
I'm planning MYSELF to advertise for the official svslearn services in both channels, that's why I wrote that. I won't join the new paywall SVS before summer '25 as I would not have time to make use of it due to a load of work, but after I get insights I want to tell about it in the forum and the discord, so people who are not sure what to expect from it will get informed and maybe decide to give it a try as well. I guess there will just be a thread about that topic.
It is highly important to me that svslearn earns enough money to stay online, as you do a great job there. 
@Lee-White will svs have a bluesky account? Substack account? Taht would be a neat way to keep in touch for some messaging and between members as well.
