Working on illustrating the story of Fionn MacCumhaill and the Salmon of Knowledge. I'm still debating redoing the trees with traditional style. I am doing this for my Illustrating Picture Book class and making a Book dummy.

I'm back at some mundane paintings

I wish to do more things but some other projects came around so I didn't really finish much stuff this month so far.

I did try some egg tempera today, not a big fan of transparent medium... but I found raw mineral colors to be quite vibrant. Maybe I could use them to boost some saturation in my gouache paintings.
