@Richy-s-ayala Welcome! So fresh and full of life filled colours! The lighting and mark making shapes and movement and energy you've created, very nice.
Nice to meet you, I am Heather.

Hi Heather! Very nice to meet you too, I am Richy. Thank you for the kind words and for taking the time to look at my work! Excited to share more and see your art.

I am pleased to report that with this spread of our fearful hero puking his guts out while his dad looks on I am officially DONE final art for my book!
Now it goes to the designer and art director for revisions/typesetting and other stuff and it is on schedule to be released Spring 2024!
And now I get to do it all again with the second book

I HAD SO MUCH TIME BACK THEN!!! But yeah, it's pretty cool that I get to have a published book! From an actual publisher!

@Richy-s-ayala oh my goodness I just love this so much! I want to jump into that picture and visit this world. So much color and life to this. great job!

@lpetiti YES!! It's hard to remember sometimes that art is built on play. It is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. It is letting our curiosity lead us down a path to see what we find and what we can do. As adults I think we get caught up in being productive and forget to just play. Children are always making art and not concerned about the outcome. I have challenged myself to play with my art more and stop focusing on my "should dos" and focus on just enjoying it. not as easy as it sounds sometimes though.

@Robyn-Hepburn Thank you so much!! This made my day. I am actually considering setting up a little online shop for prints and this feedback definitely inspires me to do it!

so after hearing one of the live Q&A episodes again, where i asked a question and @Will-Terry remindet me of, that i have a mindset problem, i decided after crying just a bit after i failed my driving test today, that i just draw and get it out of my system.
I also made a secon version with happy faces, that i can gift my driving teacher when i will pass the test next timeMaybe some of you remember my small project about myself. to get comfortable with drawing and don't have to much presure.
Nothing too special, but i hope it will help me in the future to be mor creative with composition and stuff.

@von_Nimmermehr that sucks failing the exam, but at least it sparked creativity. I vividly remember my exams, can really relate to the image.

@kayleenartlover that top one in the water, with the beautiful colours make me want to have an equally careless and relaxing day as the mermaid and frog are having.
