@Melissa-Bailey-0 I hope the video helps! If you already have a squarespace site, adding a shop there is a great idea! You don't have to deal with Etsy fees then, and either way (on Etsy or not) you have to drive your own traffic with your marketing efforts, Using the Etsy "built-in" audience doesn't really give us the leg up we might think it does, sadly!

Great video! You rock:-) I am impressed with your Etsy business. I've opened an Etsy shop recently and still working on its look and trying to put at least 10 products in. I am painting custom sneakers, but i want to add stickers and prints with designs, which i put on stickers. If you want to check it, look for MUGASKA. It's still very much WIP tho

@aska Thank you Aska! Opening an Etsy shop is a lot of work so congrats!! It's a whole new set of skills compared to drawing, so it's perfectly okay to take it slow and take your time to learn I checked out your shop and your sneakers are amazing! I painted on shoes once and it's much harder than it looks haha

@NessIllustration Hi Ness. Congrats with your growing video how to collection! I am about to update my website and want to add a shop for prints, canvases and cups. Would creating a shop with Etsy be my best option or are there other ways? Quick edit. I found Shopify, this is new to me!

Etsy and other platforms (Wordpress, Shopify, Squarespace, etc) have a lot of the same challenges. Figuring out your audience, what products will best appeal to them, and finding ways to get traffic from your target audience to your shop. Those are all things you have to do in any shop on or off Etsy. Etsy does make it easy to sell products without having to build a shop and selling system (cart, checkout, website, user dashboard, etc.) so it's a beginner friendly option. But if you already have a website and you want to add few products integrated into it, that may be a great option for you! Mostly depends on your needs

@NessIllustration Does Etsy have any rules against cross posting? Can you sell the same art on your Etsy shop as on another online store of yours?

@Cayleen No they don't! It's just a platform to sell, you can still sell your products elsewhere on your own website, other platforms or in person Just be careful with your inventory so you don't sell the same unique product to 2 people at once!

@Cayleen They don´t and you can use Zibbet f.e. to post a product to different store plattforms at the same time.
