This is Yeti. No, not The Yeti. Just Yeti. Seriously, it's not that complicated. Why do all the tourists get it wrong?
You see, at sixteen years old, Yeti works as a part-time lifeguard at the Himalay-Inn, a resort that welcomes visitors of any kind, year-round. Most of them are penguins on Holiday, though. They're pretty respectful overall, but they cannot for the life of them call the pool's lifeguard by his real name. Yeti. No The.
Perhaps that's what's got him in such a bad mood... Sometimes coffee can help.

First contest entry. I finally figured out how to post without replying. Sorry for the duplicates!
I took the photo on my iPhone.
Traditional media - Micron pen, gouache on paper. 8.5x11
Roy is a pen and ink butterfly character I explored for the duration of Inktober2020. It totally fits his personality to play as a yeti.
After redrawing multiple times, issues with scanning, etc., I am now convinced to go digital -
