      @Tom-Shannon You’ve credited great characters here. I really like how you used a blanket for the water. Nice job!

      @Michael-Angelo-Go

      You can work in what ever resolution suits your illustration needs. That being said, whoever you end up being contracted with will usually provide the resolutions or sizes they will need. You might want to just experiment with reducing the size of your finished images and see how they look and print out. Just remember to make a copy of your original.

      @Jav-Muz If you're doing a normal 2 points perspective, your vertical lines should always be straight 🙂 Right now they're leaning in all directions which gives a weird wobbly feeling.

      @Lee-White Yes! I stumbled upon this approach intuitively for last month's prompt as I had found I liked the added texture that a base of watercolour gives to the pencil. Thanks for this tip about marker as I have not seriously tried that as a base apart from in Jake's Prop Design course.

      @celteaart Yes, the foundation levels are great as they build on one another and even though I had studied illustration twice there are many things there that are new to me or presented in a more accessible way. So, I started with those and when i did not have time to continue watch the random demos on things like sketchbooks, using procreate, etc. Or visit a course and watch all the videos in prep for doing it properly later.

      @Kara_Bazley One thing I noticed is the direction of the rain makes me feel like this storm isn't a threat that is coming, but one that passed and is blowing away but the people didn't experience it (not soaking wet), and they won't experience it.They are just looking at it from a distance. Like what @Lee-White said about the distance. I do like the idea of it though. If you are out hiking and you see a storm rolling in... Maybe you could create a feeling of urgency by a character seeking shelter, putting on more layers like a rain coat, or really not being prepared and getting stuck in the rain with no coat? Anyway, I enjoy looking at your work! I like the second one out of the two best.

      @AlliFaith Yes France really accepts the comic book and graphic novel, Tintin is great too but Asterix has my kind of humour, I guess he is another influence, one of many. France really is the right place for you then.

      @Melissa_Bailey Hi! I added more words to the title. Not sure what it will be yet. 🙂

      Also, I put a bird on it (because I'm from Portlandia, LOL!)
