Hey all, just curious for those that have done book covers, how are you typically pricing it and what do you account for when you're doing the pricing?

Do you look at it primarily as more of a value based proposition or is it more of a time investment proposition (work for hire kinda deal)?

I've done 4 in the last 2 years. The most I charged was a little over $1,000 and the least I charged was $175. The one that was $175 was about 2 hours of work, so it ended up not being bad money at the end of the day, but I may have left money on the table still.

Is that in line with what professionals are charging or should I be working those prices up?

@jdubz The Jamie Zollars "jump into the studio" from last month talked about pricing for book covers...not sure if it is posted yet in the classes though - but i think there was really good information
