Critiquing and Advice
-
Awhile ago I did a drawing and it was probably my best work. However due to that spike progress, I felt intimidated to continue progressing. I managed to start drawing In that style again but I want to continue drawing without the frustration. What should I do.

As Dori would say, just keep drawing...drawing, drawing, drawing.

@Ari-Sorokin It's great that you found the motivation to keep drawing! It is normal to feel frustrated when you think that your work is not up to your expectations. But Lee had mentioned a strategy in one of the podcasts/videos I think, to not judge yourself before you create a 100 drawings. Because with every drawing, you'll learn something new and apply that to your next one. The important thing is to know that it's a learning process and not be too harsh on yourself. If this is the style you want to develop and master, draw a 100 pieces like this but without pressuring yourself on the finished product. Once you finish your 101st piece, then you can start critiquing your work. Good luck!

@Ari-Sorokin frustration is part of the business
you just have to keep on painting. No matter how much experience you have there always be better and worse paitings.
