Light & Shadow for Illustrators Assignments
-
I just finished this class last week, and decided it would be good to post the end results of the main assignment of the class here. I learned a ton from the class, but I know there are still improvements to be made. Feedback is appreciated!
(Note: I do want to apologize in advance about the drawings themselves. They turned out a little wonky and some of the items in Lee's original drawings may not be there (Especially the interior and exterior scenes). Not because I wanted to change it up, but because I had to end up doing quick and rough freehand drawings for each of them. I wanted my focus to be on learning light and shadow, so I didn't do perfect copies of his drawings. I'm not using photoshop yet, and my drawing program refused to take the .psd file

Great work!
Btw procreate didn't take the psd file either.
I solved the problem by taking a screen shot of Lees screen, imported it and then used multiply effect on it. Just in case it happes in any other course. -
@Luca-Salvatore Thank you very much!
I will remember that advice as I go through the rest of the courses.

@Jacy13 your light and shadows are amazing! Donβt worry about the drawings. This class is for light and shadows and You nailed it!

@Nyrryl-Cadiz Thank you so much for the encouraging words! I really worked hard on it, and it looks like the hard work paid off.
