LIVE CRITIQUES: Submissions needed for Thursday!
-
We now that many of you have been working hard on the new curriculum and would love some feedback, so for this week’s live jump session, we are going to try something new and do critiques!
If you are a member, and have been working through our Foundation curriculum classes, you can post one of your assignments for a chance to be critiqued. Limit one per person please!
We will try to work through as many as possible in an hour, but since we don’t know how many people will submit, we can’t guarantee that your assignment will be reviewed. But we’ll do our best!Please post your best assignment to this thread by 8 am MDT on Thursday, 6/25 for a chance to be critiqued.
We’ll do the live session at our regularly scheduled time of 2 pm MDT.We are excited to see your work!

@AustinShurtliff This would be nice to have more than just once -David Hohn has helped with feedback already -very grateful. Just started a new class, Objects in Perspective -may not have anything this time through. Even still watching will benefit me thanks.

@baileymvidler This looks great! Thank you for being so quick to post!

@Heather-Boyd I agree, this would be a cool thing to continue. We will see how things go this time, and hopefully you will able to share some of your work if we get to do it again.
I noticed on your website that you are from Canada! I was born and raised in BC before I moved to the States for college. I love finding fellow Canadians online -

@AustinShurtliff thank you!!

@AustinShurtliff Can we turn in one of the completed assignments in the course if we did not complete the whole course? Or are you just looking for the completed assignments? I worked on the props class, but only got as far as getting the lamp part finished.

Here are some late 1800's/early1900's lamps. I made it for the props class and did not finish the side table and chair. I made 3 lamps, but refined the bottom left the most. I am going to use one of them for my draw 50 things composition class, but am still debating which one I'm going to use. If this is not going to work for the critiques, you can leave it out since I haven't finished the whole course yet. Thanks!
