Not so fresh newbie saying hi!

Good day everyone,
I've finally made it here to your wonderful forum and like to introduce myself.
My name is Claudia, I'm in my mid forties and I live and work in the beautiful city of Hamburg in northern Germany. I'm already a freelancing illustrator, but I feel I still can and want to learn so much more, so here I am.
So far I've mostly illustrated for packaging designs, mixed with some handout graphics and illustrations for business coaches, private projects, e-learning platforms and two published children's books. The latter is what I want to refocus on, because I do love picture books.
Illustrating books is very different from the spotlight work for packaging. There is no need for dramatic lighting, perspective or even lots of background on a kid's shampoo bottle.
So my goal is to get a better hold of those things that I frankly have negleted over the last years.
With that said, I am happy to be here and look forward to new horizons!

I have previewed through your work and I like many of them, so I am just going to name top 3: Octopus Pirate Ship close up -super dynamic action happening and very nice handle on colour, Dog in pencil, and Candy Wizard house on the cliff (that's what I am calling it at least lols). I also love how delightfully unexpected the critters eating the website page is -so fun. Thanks for saying hi.
