Writing Masterclasses

I was wondering if anyone here has signed up for masterclass? I’ve been curious about it since it started, but when they got Judy Blume and Neil Gaiman I was REALLY interested. I think I’m honestly as much (or more)of a writer as I am an artist, and I want to explore that avenue as well as illustration. I know that they wouldn’t be nearly as comprehensive as an SVS course, but has anyone done any of the classes before? Wondering if it’s worth the money?

@Pamela-Fraley I signed up because of Neil Gaiman, and it's great, but I love him I could listen to him talk all day . It comes with assignments which I haven't done yet. But I'm happy with my purchase.

@carlianne I’m the same! I love that he narrates his own audio books. Neverwhere was mesmerizing. So was Coraline. I might have to sign up.

@Pamela-Fraley omg yes. He's the one author that I would buy audio books for.
I also found some of his tips apply to art as well. In one of the sections he talks about style and it actually helped me with locking down my art style.
Also I like that you can listen to any of the other classes with the subscription. So if you want to watch someone else in a totally different field, like Gordon Ramsey for example, it's included already.

@carlianne you’re literally in my brain. My exact thought was, “if I sign up, I can also watch the Gordon Ramsey class... “
