@CosmoglotJay nice light.

My landscape WIP will be completed next week. Shows backwards.

Rim light study. Subject I'm sure was devoured by chickens moments after photo.
-
@Heather-Boyd Thank you Heather οΈ Iβm glad you like it!

Sketching for cool down. Trying to figure out what boys look like.

Comfort Drawing after a failed piece
Comfort drawings are what I turn to as well
Third of three images from the tracks in the snow challenge
Gotta have a happy ending, right?
-
Love it @Katie-Kordesh!

@Braden-Hallett and @Katie-Kordesh, my comfort piece was doing a master copy of a photo of a tee shirt I took at Hot Topic.
The sales person looked at me funny because I took a photo of the shirt!
The funny thing is I have no clue who or what these characters are from, which obviously shows my age and cluelessness of current trends! I just found the image fascinating.
-
@Jeremy-Ross I find it distressing that you haven't seen Invader Zim!
-
Last night I had an hour all to myself and started sketching this master study of Ladybug Girl. So fascinating breaking down these master copies to understand what the artist were thinking.
Hereβs my rough sketch. Iβll share the finished copy in my Book Cover copy post once completed.
-
@Braden-Hallett, ah yes! I have heard of this cartoon, yet never watched until - well, now!
Forgive me, Iβm 40 and grew up watching The Simpsonβs, Heman and all the other 80βs cartoons!
My daughter only watches Peppa Pig style shows and movies, so Iβm definitely out of touch...
-
@Katie-Kordesh This is beautiful! I love the colors

It's been a while since my last post here ... I've been busy with a project which I designed and illustrated: A teaching book for nigerian third graders to learn how to read in English. Here some spot illustrations and part of the cover:
You could say this is my first job, yeah!

They look really super! Congratulations!
