Another artist on the long road.

Hey folks I've been reading this forum and listening to the podcast for a couple weeks now but I think its about time for me to get over the social anxiety and introduce myself. I'm an artist from the northern reaches of Utah with a love of children's illustration and snails. I've been drawing for a few years now mostly just for fun, but I have always wanted to do it professionally. The last few months I've been getting small amounts of professional work and i'm loving it, though its hard not to waste a lot of time making it "perfect"
I'm super excited though to have found a community of new and old artists alike working towards a common goal. Through this as well as SVSlearn I hope I can build up my own profession and find a lot of cool people doing the same. From what I've seen just lurking you guys look like a good community.

Thanks everyone. I'm already learning a great deal from the podcasts and there are a bunch of fantastic artists here to check out. I hope to take some classes soon as well.
