Clownsketch FEEDBACK PLEASE
-
Hello guys! I was trying out some lighting stuff in this following sketch! It is supposed to be coloured in watercolour, very minimalistic, almost black and white! The nose of the clown and the umbrella of the tooth are goig to be red...I am not sure yet if I colour it completely.
What do you say according to the values? And would you change the perspective?
Happy to be here with you guys!!

Hi! I’m sorry to say this but i’m very confused. So the clown is on a platform with a toothache and I suppose that spec on the cable is the tooth with an umbrella? Please let me know if I got it right.

Hi there,
I like your idea of the little tooth with the umbrella, that would be a really sweet illustration even on it's own, however I think the illustration as a whole has a bit too much negative space and it looks a little bit unbalanced. Also, the clown to me looks more like a young toddler crying with it's mouth open? It wasn't until I read your description again that I realised it was a clown's nose, I'm sure that would be much clearer once you've added colour though.
Have you played around with anymore compositions? Just so we can see the cute little tooth with the umbrella more
Look forward to seeing where you take it next! -
@nyrrylcadiz Hey! Yes the clown is on a platform in a circus...it is a very rough sketch ...and the tooth is wandering off with an umbrella. Should I make the tooth bigger and not listen so much to the mind that says: Hey but that tooth isn't fitting in the clowns mouth...?
