Want to help me out and contribute a prompt word that I could use for sketchbook inspiration?
-
I'd like to have some drawing prompts to work from when I sketch in my sketchbook. I was hoping that some of you might want to contribute a word or two. It could be a noun, mood, adjective, verb, whatever. I just don't want specific people like celebrities, but something like Santa would be ok. Then I'd randomly match two together for when I have time to spend sketching.
I know there are random word generators out there, but I think you guys would come up with better words.
Anyone up for contributing a word of two? :smiling_cat_face_with_open_mouth:
-
@tessaw chunk, spice, curfew, ape, hymn, spruce, bandage, bean, fan, branch, goggles, fluid, bottle
-
Octopus, clown, gold chain, tattoo, lotus, blind, pudding
-
Falling, clown, shattered, hippopotamus.
I really like this idea you're doing. One thing I would prefer about the monthly challenges would be a scenario or text to illustrate, rather than a one word theme. I hope you share some of the things you come up with.

Thanks guys. Two of you suggested clowns, lol! I'm writing them down on paper as they come, so I can cut them out later and put them in a jar.

You guys are the best, thank you. I've started my first sketching session. The words I pulled were mermaid and statue. I first thought of the Little Mermaid and the Eric statue, but I didn't go with that.
@Jason-Bowen I did my first random picking from the jar, and the first two were both from you!
@Chip-Valecek Dang it Chip, I'm not putting in another clown into the selection jar! Lol.
@aska Hehe, That's an intriguing to do list!
@TwiggyT Of course you would suggest a hedgehog. Thank you.
@Tom-Shannon Thanks Tom, I haven't used it. I'll have to check it out sometime.
@JennyJones Nice ones.
@eli You crack me up!
@leothejediartist Welp, I'm set for the year. Thank you!
@Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen Ooo, that's the second suggestion for fluid. I really like your prompts!

All the best @TessaW !

@KathrynAdebayo Those are really great ones!
@jason-bowen Mermaid and statue!
@Chip-Valecek "Little did Tessa know, that asking for prompt words on the SVS forum, would lead her to becoming known as a clown artist. . ."
@Darian Thanks. You can always contribute a word if you wish, but there's already certainly a ton!
