@sas You would have to contact hotmail some one and request to have that IP removed from the blocked list. I once had to contact my kids school, they for some reason were blocking our IP and none of the teachers would get our emails. It took a while but they finally removed the IP and everything was good. Not much I can do on our end.

@debra-garcia Are you talking about links in posts? Or links in the footer of someone's post?

As somebody who always forgets her password, even when changing it two minutes before, I got a bit frustrated when trying to restore my password and I just didn’t get a link in my email!
(This was three days ago.)I blocked my account (off course
) and two hours later I suddenly knew my password. Either way, I still haven’t got a email so thought this could be mentionable.
Thanks for all your hard work!

@sas Do you by chance use hotmail? For some reason hotmail has blocked all email because they think its spam.
-
@chip-valecek Yes I do. But wouldn't it end up in my spam box then? It's not there either...
-
@sas No, if hotmail blocks an IP thinking it is trying to spam people, it will block it for good. I have found your request to change password and this is the response back from hotmail:
550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [167.89.106.58] weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3140). You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors. [CO1NAM04FT064.eop-NAM04.prod.protection.outlook.com]
Looking at all the emails I been tracking from the forum all are sent besides the ones being sent to hotmail.

@chip-valecek oi! Is there a way to allow the ip to go through? Like manually putting it on the "good list"? PS. I wish they would do the same to the actual junk

Thanks for manning the forums, Chip!

@debra-garcia I have tested this and didn't have an issue with opening the links. However they do open in the same window so most of the time I will just right click on the link and say open in new tab or new window so I don't lose the page I am on.
