I was considering it but just attended a local SCBWI conference in Oregon and my brain and spirit feels like they've been put through a wringer twice. Not sure I'm ready for the big leagues. For those of you who attend, it would be great if you could share your experiences and insights afterwards.

@johanna-kim for sure. I am attending a Dan Santat talk tomorrow which is 6 hours long, in which he goes over his entire process of writing and illustration his books. I was planning on taking a ton of notes and making a post dedicated to it for everyone here Sunday or Monday. I will do the same for the conference.

@eric-castleman I am looking forward to reading your experience with Santat's talk--thanks in advance. I actually just checked out two of his books today, Beekle and Are We There Yet? They're both so good, esp. the latter. You can tell he's really enjoying the process of creating a final product that's entertaining for kids and adults.
