Recommendations for a printer to sell prints
-
I have received a lot of messages recently asking for prints of my caricature work, but at the moment I don't have a printer and don't want to go through one of those 3rd party printers who give you something like 10% of the sale. I figure a3 should be good enough for what I need it for, but I don't want to break the bank. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have a Cannon Pixma A3 ix6550 it is about £120 last time I checked. It is pretty good and takes thick and even watercolour paper,I have never had any problems with it ,but I hardly ever use it and of course the ink is expensive.

I´ve just bought a Canon Pixma Pro 100S that prints up to A3 plus (that´s about A3 plus an inch all around). The printing quality is absolutely stunning, especially on high quality paper.
It costs between 400 and 600 USD new, but you can find some second-hand deals. There is also a handy webpage that gives you the cost per print (referring to ink usage):http://www.redrivercatalog.com/cost-of-inkjet-printing-canon-pro-100.html

@gary-wilkinson There is an old post where @Lee-White talks about using his Epson 4900 along with other points: http://forum.svslearn.com/topic/1881/prints-of-traditional-artwork/6
