I donated a couple of small paintings to an auction to benefit a cool, local not-for-profit art gallery. The auction was last weekend and I was out of town, so couldn't attend. This is my first time doing this--I don't know if the pieces sold. If they didn't sell, what happens to them? Do they give them back? No idea how this works...

@eli I would assume if you contact them they would let you know if they sold and how much they sold for. If you donated I would also assume if they didn't sell that they would try again at their next auction.

Thanks, @Chip-Valecek I should ask them--I just wondered if there is a proper protocol for this sort of thing. I hope they did sell and help the cause!
