WIP penguin - critiques welcome

If you guys have some time to critique a quick comp I uploaded, that would be great. I'm going for subdued, quiet, and quirky. The penguin is tasting snowflakes, but I'm not sure if that's clear. One idea is to zoom in a little closer, but I don't know if I want to lose the top of the lamp. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks, awesome SVS forum peeps.

I can tell he's tasting snowflakes but I'm not sure if that's because you said and it's stuck in my brain. I think I'd have him facing into frame rather than out as it's taking my eye out of frame. Nice work. Look forward to seeing it develop!
