Hey Guys,

Did you all see the new iPad Pro announcement?

It's a 12.9 inch iPad screen with an add-on pencil that is essentially a Cintiq Companion in the Apple iOS ecosystem.

Here's the iPad Pro:http://www.apple.com/uk/ipad-pro/design/

They mentioned Procreate in the press conference and I just wondered if anyone will be picking one up?

I use a Cintiq 13HD now on a Mac and I am going to preorder the iPad Pro when the preorders are available. I tried the Cintiq Companion Hybrid Android tablet, but didn't really get on well with it, but I really want to test out the pencil on the glass, as Apple reckons it feels like pencil on paper. If that's true, I'm sold. The glassy feel is the only thing I dislike about Cintiqs.

Anyway, just wanted to know what people's opinions are, as it seems aimed at businesses and illustrators and with the bigger processor and graphics engine, 300 DPI documents, better brush engines and everything else is bound to be just around the corner.

Take care,
Ace
