I haven't finished watching yet but, Will Terry's latest you tube video on self-publishing is worth watching ( or listening to.) I can't remember the name of his partner right now (sorry) but he illustrated Pennys Puffball or something similar. I'm on a library computer right now and have been a bit out of touch this past week with just my cell phone and lots of family stuff going on. I need to get going but...take a gander! You'll be glad you did.
I haven't finished it yet. I didn't hear anything about doing everything yourself (write, illustrate, publish, sell) but good tips on contracts with authors who are self publishing, etc. I would like to her more on doing the whole shebang alone though.....every little bit helps!Marsha Ottum Owen

@Will-Terry I greatly enjoyed watching the two of you, and Tyrus Goshay has almost convinced me to entertain illustrating for self publishers again (after swearing completely off them for years).

@will-terry I like the phrase: "Failing Forward". I feel like the two picture books I have illustrated have a lot of flaws but maybe that shows I've made progress
