Independent WIP

I have two different ideas to play with. Both are a little kid in his dads clothes or moms clothes being independent. Not sure if I am going to do a little girl or little boy. A.) Getting a coffee but the barista can't see him/her. B.) In the bathroom brushing teeth.

@chip-valecek I like the (B) concept.

@chip-valecek I like both, but the B concept has more focus for me. Perhaps he's getting ready to go to work? Shaving foam? Briefcase?
-
Oooh tough one. I like @bnewman idea of shaving, because that seems like a more grown up thing do to. But I also like the idea of the interaction with the barista. Hmmm. Do both! But seriously, I think both are great and I can't decide.

I think A could be very interesting! Love to see what you would put on the shelves and counter
-
@chip-valecek I like B the best so far.
-
"A" would offer more of a challenge. You could have the barista with a confused look on his face while handing the kid the coffee. Maybe add a few patrons for interest, also with confused looks.
-
I think "B" is the best one, maybe if you add mom or dad opening the door with a surprise expression on the mirror could be great.
-
I think B is a cute idea but something about A really grabs my attention. You could even have him problem-solving the issue- finding a way to to get more height. Also there's a lot of potential to practice perspective and drawing multiple things, and added more story in!

Looks to be a split on both... So I guess I will try to do both. I will see how my time is managed.

@chip-valecek How about a couple of variation on each, still rough.thumbnails, playing with composition and lighting and perspective? That can help me narrow things down sometimes.

Lost track of time this month so I was only able to get one piece done and submitted.

Nice one. I remember when I got caught doing this...lol.
