I'm thankful for the monthly prompts and really enjoy seeing everyone's creations. Independence is an adventure even if others don't see it the way you do.

I read something here on the thread today that "independence means something different for everyone." With reading that I decided to go with my original concept, although it may not read independence right away, I am a mother of a toddler this is what independence is for me at the moment. Title "House Kitty." Loads of fantastic entries everyone!

Here's my submission. I thought of my little grandson who is learning how to dress himself and be independent. Should have done some more sketches, etc. but, I am learning. This was my first attempt.
