JUNE ILLUSTRATION CONTEST: TREEHOUSE

@jinneskog I think you have the right elements in there! If you wanted to keep playing with it I'd recommend revisiting the perspective- which seems a bit off (or maybe your vanishing points are too close), and changing up the angle to really have fun with the emotional elements.

@lepueblo Loving it! I especially think your colors are working well here but I really like your style- it reminds me a bit of Calvin and Hobbes!

Hello everyone!
I guess this is my formal intro. My name is KC Vera, and I'm new to the forum. This is my first post to any forum, so it feels a little strange. Ha ha. I just graduated from college, and now I'm trying to build a portfolio to hopefully get work as an illustrator some day. I welcome all critiques and/or suggestions. I don't feel that this one is done. It feels a little bright, but how does the saying around here go? finished not perfect. I'm literally at the beginning stages, so I don't have a social media presence at all, coming soon though. I'm happy to be here and ready to learn with you guys.
