I want to learn to draw and paint the "Will Terry style", but subscribed and confused what to watch
-
As the title says, I want to learn the process Will Terry thinks, draws, paints, etc (i.e. all his process, specially how he achieves the bright coloring in Photoshop), because I'm in love with his style (that's why I subscribed :D). But I am confused in what courses and videos to watch here (I'm a complete beginning artist, a programmer for 20+ years, so everything in art is the opposite to what I've been used to do my whole life). Courses are randomly distributed around and I didn't find an ordered way to learn the "Terry's way".
As a beginner I am feeling overwhelmed, specially that there are various similar videos, but no consistency in ordering, also Thinkific, which is the platform used by SVS, has a terrible course dashboard/filtering/search, making things worse.
Any tips/directions?
PS: I tried to create my own course route here, but I'm really looking just for specifics about or by Will Terry. Not looking forward to make a living from art, but I'm here because I love to learn and develop new abilities all the time, so I'm here with a very relaxed mindset, eager to learn from these masters.

Hi, here are some courses that I suggest you should start with:
beginning photoshop
posing characters
working with color
painting in photoshop
10 step digital paintingthe last one, especially, is a must to understand Will's process.
and to go further:
mixed media watercolor and digital
creative composition
painting color and light -
@audrey-dowling thank you! "posing characters" is one that would never consider.

@alfredbaudisch
@Will-Terry has at least 5 or so courses on painting & drawing (with just him in the course)
The most recent is on how he approaches acrylics: https://courses.svslearn.com/courses/smooth-blends-in-acrylics-dry-brush-technique
I listed the rest below:

https://courses.svslearn.com/courses/beginning-photoshop
https://courses.svslearn.com/courses/10-step-digital-painting
https://courses.svslearn.com/courses/ipad-pro-painting-with-procreateHe is also in other courses along with others where I recall him including his thoughts & approaches on drawing/painting; however, I don't recall which ones have him talking about his specific process (such as the "bean" approach).
You might also benefit from Will's YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/willterryart
He will also do Facebook-Live videos from time to time where you can watch him as he does it as well as ask questions:

This is a great path for drawing & painting overall.
