Just came across a cool little tool that may be helpful to you. If you like a certain color scheme of an image this will pull the colors for you and create swatches.

Adobe has a similar tool in their Adobe Capture CC Mobile App, so if you are out-and-about you can use your phone's camera and you'll see it make note of colors in real time as you scan the scene, and of course, you can snap the photo and capture the colors.
