My name is Alison Johnstun. I graduated from BYU in Illustration a few years ago. Unfortunately since then, my health hasn't been great which has really made it difficult to have a consistent and predictable work schedule. I decided to subscribe to SVS so I can keep learning even when I physically can't draw, and maybe get some critique from here.

Welcome to the community Alison. You are in good hands here at SVS. We are all very supportive and you can find some good people to help out with critiques including myself and @Chip-Valecek here. He helped me throughout my last project with some great insight. I am excited to see more of your work here as you learn more.

Hey Alison, welcome to SVS! This is an amazing community - you're going to love it. Btw, do you still live in Utah? I'm in southern Utah and Jake & Will (two of the teachers here) also live in Utah. I look forward to seeing your work!
Btw, you might want to start a sketchbook here to keep track of your progress and to get input from the other members.

@Joslyn-Schmitt I don't know about live classes right now, but I've been going through the "How to Make Money in Illustration" videos as I missed out on Will Terry's business in illustration class since I had a concept design focus.
@amberwingart Yeah, I'm still in Utah.
