I've been subscribed with SVS since January, and other than lurking around the forum I haven't really interacted yet. So here we go!

I am an illustrator and fine artist (but aren't they pretty much the same?) I have had some consistent work as an editorial illustrator but I still have to work outside the studio to pay the bills and take care of the family. I am hoping that it will be soon that I don't have to do so much outside work.

I am interested mostly in editorial illustration, but I really like all kinds of genres. I am currently working on a horror/sci-fi graphic novel that I hope to finish the story and art by this December. I also keep busy doing portraits of children and pets. I've been toying with the idea of creating some children's books and so that is why I enjoy participating with SVS. I have very little time for personal projects but I try to make time for it when I get going on an idea.

I am looking forward to interacting more in the forums. There is a lot of very inspiring work here.

Here are some examples of my work if you care to see.

Welcome to the SVS forums! Glad you finally took the plunge to join in, it's a nice place here and helpful too. Your work is great, I remember your piece from the Oz critique session. Love that monkey!
