Illustration Pod Casts
-
I love to listen to podcasts while I work. I thought I'd start a list of creative podcasts. If you guys know any others post them here I'm always looking for new stuff.
escape from illustration island This one is over but there are 81 recorded shows

Ha! I will have to check these out, I subscribed to backstage pass at Chris Oatleys Academy just to get more stuff to listen
-
There is also the Picture Booking Podcast: http://picturebooking.com/
-
I also enjoy the following:
The Art of Aaron Blaise Youtube - another former Disney animator, with all kinds of video tips and tricks on youtube. I found him recently and have really enjoyed his videos/topics.
Stories Unbound - another one in the Oatley Academy series but focused specifically on childrens books.
The Bancroft Brothers Podcast - they are twin brothers who have both worked in the animation (mostly for Disney) and have on all kinds of great guests. Even though it is more about animation - still so much you can learn about characters design, vis dev etc.
Artists Helping Artists - mostly about painting but they will often have episodes about marketing/promoting your art etc.
Adventures in Design - I will note that the language and topics can sometimes get a little colorful on this one, so if that is not your thing please take note. But this one covers all kinds of design/illustration related interviews and topics - a lot with posters, screenprints, toys and so on.

A few more for you:
Make it then tell everybody (Comics and Graphic Novels)
Smart Creative Women (Crafting, Illustrators and Designers)
Arrest All Mimics (Illustration and Design) -
Nice. Listening to the Picture Booking Podcast right now...It's really good.

Thanks for sharing! This is great!

I had previously commented about The Bancroft Brothers Podcast and in their latest episode #44 - Tom and Tony Hash It Out - they give a really nice shout out to @Jake-Parker and his talents and his videos and excellent example of social media presence. I don't know why but I love when all of the different artist I admire are also aware of and respond to each others efforts like this.
