I’ve been switching over to vector illustrating (Affinity Designer), and I’m experimenting with different tools and styles. Curious if I could get feedback: which of these four quartet members is more appealing to you?

@braydin-hawlette this is gorgeous Braydin. I've been planning to add black and white pieces to my portfolio. I'll definitely study your works for any tips and tricks. I just love your pieces.

For the last few months I've been working on a challenge called alphabet superset, created by a YouTuber called Struthless. The challenge is to pick a theme, set permuters and create an entry for each letter of the alphabet.
I came up with the theme Panic! At the potluck. And alphabet illustration series that explores foods that would get you uninvited to future potlucks.
I didn't originally intended it to be a kids book so some of the entries have gags in them that wouldn't be appropriate for kids, but I think once I'm done the series I'll revise some of the illustrations to make a family friendly edit.
Here are the entries I did in March -

@Tash
Hey Tash, love all these, so fun, creative and well designed in color and form. Two thumbs up!a Are you using marker? -
@Larue Thank you so much for your kind words!
Yes! I'm using Ohuhu alcohol markers, I love them for planning colour pallets and they blend and bleed into eachother in a way I find really pleasing, they also layer really well. For the linework I've been using Windsor and newton inks. For paper I'm using Pentalic Nature sketch.

Hi guys! I started working on a short 10-page comic around a month ago, I'm now on the coloring/detailing phase. Progress is slow but I've been working full time on jobs so yeah... The result might be interesting.

This second quarter Ill dedicate it to webcomics as it is a great way to improve my digital line drawing, storyline layout, beat scripting. And from there Ill jump to illustrate my Novella with maps, settings and charactersI post it as a full page comic but add several pages for the scroll on my substack
