Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank @Jake-Parker for selecting and critiquing my castle piece! I know there were quite a bit of entries and I’m grateful to have mine selected for the critique. I will definitely work on making the revisions to improve it and will repost it on the forum.
Also, thanks to Will and Lee for their critiques on the other pieces, which I enjoyed watching and learned from as well. I play guitar, so I liked the concept!
Thanks to SVS Team for organizing the event and keeping things running smoothly!

Great live stream like always! I got my days mixed up this week and so i watched it late, but i really appreciated the tough love talk at the beginning. I feel like all art teachers are generally on the sweet side bc they dont want to crush the tender artist type souls. I wanted to suggest the svs team think about throwing in a competition every couple months so usual participants can get a chance to compete and see how they are improving. Im sure the people who get the htfya book/class would rise to the top, (or you could limit it to ppl who buy the htfya course) and it would be great see people praised for going through the checklist and making strong art.
Yall have made something incredible, like a top teir soccer camp, but practice doesnt do much good unless you have a match to test your metal in. When i was in 7th grade i joined the soccer team in my charter school, but since there were only four of us on the team we never played a single game (not even 2 on 2 against eachother), so practice never really did anything for any of us and i only remember feeling bad for having my dad drive me out there and grumpy about doing so much running in the cold.
Just a thought.
