I have been asked do to a digital drawing for a friend. How much should I charge for a A4 size coloured drawing? I think $50 is enough but my wife thinks I should charge for more.
On a side note I would like to sell prints of the artwork if my client is all right with it. How much should I charge for prints?
How long does it take you to do a full-color drawing? I'd be trying to aim for at least $60 an hour once it was all said and done as just a barometer if you had nothing else you were basing it off of. Even if you do it for less because it's a friend, on the invoice you should show the total amount you normally would charge with a discount applied so they know how much it would normally be.
