When two artists get married...

Sharing this here because, well, because I like this group, and though I haven't got to know everyone here super well, it's still a good community of what seems like wonderful, creative people and this was just a very happy time for me, so I'm sharing.
I got married this past week to a wonderful person and artist. Our entire relationship started after meeting her at the art store she manages and joining the figure drawing group she runs. We spent an entire summer hanging out and drawing, talking art, fawning over artists we loved. I think it was about this time I ran into Jake Parker's work and youtube videos as well, lol. Fast forward 7 years later and we have tied that knot people talk about.
Anyway, was a glorious day for two artists who love illustration and each other.
Here are a few photos and even some of our sketches.
These are our rings that our dear friend who is a jeweler by trade supervised us making. It was such a fun process of carving wax models of the rings, making molds, casting them and then cleaning and polishing.

Thanks for sharing. Looked like a fun day and how nice to have a creative partner. I love him so much but...even my hubby admits he can't draw a straight line. Many years of new adventures ahead!
