Amazing pieces of art! * wants to hang them on my wall for inspiration*
My name is Yana and I love everything surrounding art, illustration, graphic design and handmade crafty crafts.
I spent a great portion of my childhood in the Greater Chimgan mountains (Middle-Eastern Asia), exploring art and craft in the open nature. There were lots of bees, snakes, cows and all sorts of wildlife. To this day, my work is inspired by and dedicated to that special place.
Things that currently inspire me:
• Retro and vintage things; 80's Eurodisco and ABBA
• Gesture drawing, browsing through endless reference resources online and occasionally visiting local life drawing classes
• Going for walks to observe the distinctly vast Australian nature
• My old sketchbooks, there's an ocean of ideas that didn't get the further development they deserved

RE: Problems with SVS Tool bar / Header
I had the same problem for ages and thought there was something wrong with my computer/account!
It went back to normal after changing the 'skin' (go to Settings --> Select a Skin) to Paper. Other skins probably work too, I didn't experiment much ^^
RE: Inktober Withdrawal - Looking for other creative prompts.
There's a fun challenge by Fran Menses (frannerd), as seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CymuyLlA5X0 (prompts are listed in the video's info box). It doesn't really have specific time restrictions, and lots of people are doing it too (hashtags on instagram #frannerdchallenge #30thingstodraw).
In my case inktober made the inner critic even worse it seems >.>
RE: Hello! Just showing some of my illustrations for feedback and judgment~

Inktober at the Mountain Beehive
There's many intriguing prompt lists, which ones to choose??
Since it's my first time attempting Inktober I decided to stick to the official prompt list and try not to get too overwhelmed. Here are my inked entries so far, all sketched frantically close to midnight (since living in Sydney gives us more time with the leading timezone, more procrastination is inevitable)
SWIFT - two drawings were done (plus a dozen draft sketches), but I wasn't satisfied with either of them
DIVIDED - stripes and birdies, inspired by illustrations on a napkin from a spontaneous picnic at a park that day
POISON - Radomir from the 'Healer's Apprentice' USSR film, a very whimsical and lighthearted piece of film
UNDERWATER - Patrick from under the sea
LONG - I used an old sketchbook scribble to ink over and added colour blocks in photoshop
SWORD - grandmother bee vs a wooden minecraft sword xD
SHY - one of my main fictional worlds 'Kinza Planet' and its first robot inhabitant
CROOKED - it was a difficult one to dream up, but I was happy to do at least that tiny bit of watercolour practice
To be continued!
