Shoutout to an inspirational SVS artist (@johanna-kim)

It's been ages since I've been wanting to make this post. Long ago I was new to SVS and wanted to learn more about the artists here by interviewing them and posting the interviews to the forum. It was such an awesome learning opportunity, and I feel like I know some of you more personally now through that experience.
However, there's one artist here who I reached out to about interviewing but never got the chance to: @Johanna-Kim ! She's such an incredible artist and has been on my mind since then. It's been years!
Today I want to at least give her a shoutout. She's always been amazing but some of her recent art is just phenomenal. Especially if you use a watercolor/digital style, I think her work is a great example to study.
Her website shows some of her illustrations and other projects, including some really awesome installations!
These are some of my favorite pieces of hers featured on her website:
I'd recommend going to check it out for yourself: https://www.johannakim.com/
I'm sorry I didn't get to interview you back when we were talking about it, Johanna. You're one of the first illustrators I was amazed by here at SVS!
Thanks for the work you're putting into the world. ️

@KathrynAdebayo Oh wow, thanks so much. I'm touched by your kind words. There's a reason why you've never interviewed me--I'm one of those artists that never feels ready. It holds me back and it's something I'm working to overcome, with help from my trusted critique partners. In fact, they've given me a deadline to start submitting to agents by mid-January. In the meantime, thank you for directing some light my way. Your work inspires me, as well.

@Johanna-Kim I can completely relate. And wow, that is really wonderful! I have a feeling that you'll have success at finding an agent and will do well at whatever you pursue. It seems like there can be great reward from being well prepared. Best wishes for everything you do this year!
