@Valerie-Light no I didn’t either, I was really hoping you’d be able to kind of “sit in” to see how it goes? But I didn’t get a link to todays, so I’m guessing no. Maybe there’s somebody else who registered and can shed some light on it for us…

@Valerie-Light did you catch the part when one of the ads said she had a dog file? I’m mean I honestly didn’t know they worked liked that. They find things that you do well and set it aside waiting for the perfect project? Or maybe that’s just her? I don’t know that was crazy to me! But, I think that’s the most important thing I took away yesterday, is draw the things you like to draw and what you’re good at and put those in your your portfolio. If you don’t like drawing cars don’t put them in cuz if they’re good you’ll get asked to do them again and again. And be drawing them for six months to a year.

@Asyas_illos I did see that, and I love it! I loved hearing from the panelists saying they welcomed art submissions from unagented, unpublished illustrators. That makes me feel way less pressure about sending a 'perfect' submission in.
