Our SVS Virtual Studio JANUARY 2022!🎆

I’m working on a submission for the Tiger contest in which the subject matter is very uncreatively “tigers.” Mostly I just wanted to see if I could draw tigers. Now I’ll have to see if I can paint tigers.

Thank you @jenn!

This is a spot I did for the CBPro course. We were offered several manuscripts to work from. I chose to do a modern day take on Jack and the Beanstalk.
(BTW - I cannot say enough about how fantastic that course was!) Thanks for looking.
-
I love your work. I feel it.
-
Just had a look at your website. Your work is so beautiful. The colors and mood...stirring.
-
These two are delightful.
-
@kylebeaudette So incredibly imaginative and compositionally pleasing. Love it.
-
@chrisaakins So endearing. Fabulous.

I am finished with my tiger contest entry. These are two options of what I could send in, the scanned image (bottom) or the photograph (top). Which do you like better? It was hard to get the photos to look like the physical project. What feedback do you have for making this better?

@kylebeaudette The hands scream quentin blake. Love it!
-
So good @braydin-hawlette!

@kylebeaudette
These are great! Thanks for the chuckle -
@jeremy-ross absolutely fantastic. I love what you’ve captured here. I love his worried expression, I love your color palette and composition… just fantastic!

Working on this for the portfolio. My parents have this really embarrassing photo of me, with a shoebox full of snails and snails literally all over my body. For many reasons I added clothes.
-
Hi @reelynn, both are great but I like top one a little better since it’s desaturated a bit and softer.
Good luck!

@jeremy-ross thank you. I also like the top better, except the yellow in the bottom is more what I painted. I will need to do some adjusting of the yellow color.
