@JoshSchouwstra I love it! Can't wait to see a whole story? Is the story is ready already or you invent it every day?

Sorry guys am a bit late to the party, I am going for a star wars theme this year. So here are my first 3 prompts. The Crystal Fox, The Mandalorian Suit, and Grogu in his Vessel.

Inktober Day 4 - " Knot"
WOW! This one was deceptively difficult!
Took a lot of relearning certain techniques to achieve the looks I was going for!I typically think like a painter, but inking is all about thinking in 2-3 tones, y'know, negative and positive space. It took a lot of inspirational browsing and quick study (and hours of practice before bed to reacclimate the hand and brain to a different technique) to get to even the half way done mark.
Anywho - yes, "knot" - a character design! Three spirity looking creatures who got themselves alllll sorts of tied up
A hard one, but a fun one! Enjoy y'all
Stay busy, keep healthy!

My ink drawing for day 4 of Inktober — knot.
I wanted to draw a donkey after watching Pinoccio (2019) movie yesterday. Drawing animals is my favorite subject in general, and I painted it with brown Indian ink washes. I tried to spend no more than one hour from start to finish, but I think I spend 1 hour and 20 minutes instead (including finding references and sketching).
What do you guys think about my inking technique? Any suggestions on how to improve it? -

I decided to do just puns or short comics for inktober. This month is crazy so I wanted to keep it achievable
