            I think you'd be okay desaturating at least the third row of the crowd to ease the transition to all gray, seems too abrupt to me but otherwise works very well.

                @Kori-Jensen I do see your narrative! Wondering if instead of the eraser he could be holding brushes, stylus, maybe a paper pad under his arm etc. Just an idea....like indefiance "you can't keep me down!"
