@Juleesa I just saw this thread pretty much saying that it will be a separate cost...maybe you could contact them for a refund so you can enroll in the Children's Pro program?

@Asyas_illos Yes, people have been asking since they announced Children's Pro. The illustrators are getting restless.

@RachelArmington thanks so much for finding this info!
-
@kylebeaudette haha!
-
@Asyas_illos Me too. Praying that it's going to be affordable!
-
@Juleesa I hope everything works out for you!
-
@Asyas_illos Actually, I'm only half joking. I'm fighting a feeling of disillusionment the longer they continue to be secretive of the cost (the Three are so good with business, you know it's not as if they haven't decided yet). They are such a wealth of experience and information, and we could all learn from how they are marketing this.
One of the things I love about SVS is the open exchange of information and support, the feeling that the Three and we are all peeps when we come into the Forum. So the marketing ploys/incremental commitment (having to sign up in exchange for information, when they already have everyone's email addresses)/perceived scarcity....make me a bit sad when the Three could just share the information outright...feels false.
I'm sure this is just me...I grew up in the sixties when we over analyzed everything. -
@RachelArmington no I definitely agree with you. I mostly feel sad because I most likely won’t be able to afford it. But I’m trying stay hopeful. If not there’s still a bunch I can learn with just plain ol svs.
-
@RachelArmington My feeling is that SVS has shared pretty much Everything we could possibly hope for already through the classes and the podcast...i think "amazing secrets and strategies" is true if someone is not an SVS'r...so the marketing does seem a bit...off ...but i think we are not the target audience really? As a teacher i am hoping for a Course Content and Outcome Guide of some kind. What is the content of the class, how will we be able to apply what we learn in the class, are the outcomes measurable, how will the outcomes be assessed? Is this class really for everyone? If i need to work on some of the basics of image making will i still benefit from this class? If this is really a mentorship of some kind i would be pretty excited about that... a mentorship with any of the three(four?) would be pretty awesome.

Just saw their 2nd free video! I like how systematic they are with their information. Very action oriented!
Does anyone know if all the videos of CBP course will be available all at once. Or will they release them on some sort of schedule?
-
Second video very insightful.
-
@Neha-Rawat They may be all available once they’ve all been released at their own time, so maybe after they’re all out they might have a place where you can view them all together?
-
@Asyas_illos For me as well, regular SVS could last me for another year for certain. I've actually gone back over a few classes for a second time. I suspect they'll find ways to keep adding to SVS as well, maybe more guests teachers with new approaches.
-
@Kevin-Longueil Having any of that information laid out would be so helpful. But you’re right, the possibility of a mentor is the biggest draw by far.
-
@Neha-Rawat @Asyas_illos Hey, how did you guys access the videos? I’ve signed up with my email multiple times but haven’t received anything from CBP (I’ve checked Spam). And everything links back to the same sign up page.

@Asyas_illos Is there any way you can forward me the email at malchion@cooper.edu? The team members seem pretty tied up right now.
