March Contest character design outfit.

Ham Piper, imagined as Pied Piper’s pet mouse. For the prompt Ham was originally going to be a hamster bard until I recently read the fairy tale story of Pied Piper and thought it would be fun to come up with a ‘pet’ for him.
Still trying to settle on an outfit for this musical mouse and I wanted to share a WIP image before the end.

So much character in those eyes! I think the more dignified costumes work best, the bigger the hat the better! The juxtaposition with the facial expression is hilarious but they also make Ham look like more of a brave but unlikely hero.

Oh my word he is ADORABLE!!! My favorite outfits are the top middle and bottom left- but they are all so cute! Can't wait to see the final piece! ^^
