Fun portrait! I like the hair color... I recently went from teal to green so I feel a connection ;-). Welcome and enjoy the forums! I myself have been more of a lurker of late, but hope to be able to jump back in soon.

@sarahluann Thank you! I'm digging the blue hair too. It was the first time I'd done anything that wasn't a "natural" hair color, so it was a fun to play with. It would be so cool to have it myself, but I don't think I could handle the maintenance haha

Welcome! I'm also new here and came because of the podcast, it's so awesome! First off I would say you nailed the expression, the emotional weight in this piece is quite on point. You could use Some highlights though, particularly some in the eyes and the teeth. These areas are wet and the light reflects more off of them, it helps give differentiation in the textures - but most of all it would brighten her expression even more and give it that extra pop.
